13/03/2008 - PEPITe in Hightech Mechatronica 2008
Hightech Mechatronica 2008 is a pre-eminent networking event for technical managers and highly qualified developers of mechatronical systems. The event is held at top locations. Both Eindhoven and Kortrijk lie in a hightech region where machine development activities are a booming business.

Mechatronca is the generic name of a conception area where people from various disciplines tightly collaborate to advanced systems for machines. There are among others electronics engineers, software developers and manufacturers but also physicists, optical specialists and many others technicians who play a crucial role in the realization of these high-tech systems.

PEPITe will give it a presentation entitled " An intelligent analysis of the historic data is important for identifying the oportunities of profit ".

16/01/2008 - PEPITe european project « Qualoss »
QUALOSS targets to develop a method to determine the robustness and the evolution capacity of freewares (Free and Open Source Software or F / OSS). A software tool will go with the method to facilitate the application in the field. To build and validate the method, QUALOSS will study between 50 and 100 projects F / OSS. Furthermore, case studies will be led to demonstrate that this method can help the business world to improve its output.
The role of Pepite is to organize the various projects data and to apply it the various Datamining methods.
